Corruption happens when the protagonist of a work who calls into a terrifying state of madness due to certain stimuli. The vision of a corrupted person may trigger a series of bloody impulses.

As the name suggests, corruption is a change for the worse in the character. In works it is often reflected that corruption is ten times stronger and redemption is three times weaker.

Corruption is quite terrifying, just like being insane and killing people without distinguishing between friend or foe.

Some people confuse the concepts of these two properties, but they are essentially different.

Simply put, blackening is a concept at a point in time, and yandere is a concept at a time period.

Corrupted vs. yandere

Corruption is a kind of mental change caused by the mental stimulation, psychological shock or fright of some strong event, which leads to a state of rage and madness.

Before being corrupted, a character can be a normal person, with normal words and deeds within the scope of ordinary people. It is a mental drastic change caused by an opportunity, as if he has become a completely different person. There is a huge sense of gap before and after corruption.

Yandere is a persistent character trait and mental state . The words and deeds of a yandere character that are beyond ordinary people's understanding are daily behaviors in a state of mental illness.

The "disease" in "yandere" is not caused by the stimulation or shock of the incident. On the contrary, it is usually caused by love, love to the point of abnormality, which leads to mental abnormality and psychological distortion, and extreme words and deeds beyond ordinary people's understanding.

"Corrupted" and "broken"

The meaning of badness is relatively broader than blackening, or blackening is just a form of badness. Destruction is generally used to refer to a physical, psychological or other damaging state change of a character due to some reason.
