An elemental summoner is a branch of magician and belongs to the moe points of fictional professions.

Introduction

The elemental summoner is a branch of the magician profession in ACGN works. Compared to necromancers and summoners of other types of fantasy creatures, they constitute another form of magician. It is equivalent to the relationship between light and darkness, righteousness and evil.

As the name suggests, elemental summoners mainly specialize in a series of spells related to the elements of nature. Their abilities generally include nature (wind, thunder, gas), earth (sometimes including metal manipulation, plant manipulation), water (ice), fice, and weather manipulation. Simply put, it is the "Five Elements" (wuxing) of traditional Chinese culture (metal, wood, water, fire, and earth) and the "Five Spirits" of fantasy culture (wind, thunder, water, fire, and earth), as well as their evolution and fusion forms (ice, stone, steam, lava, plants/life, etc.). Elemental summoners in the adventure team are mainly responsible for magic damage output, and occasionally use auxiliary skills related to elemental magic to assist the team in combat.

Depending on the setting of the work, mages who specialize in light and darkness spells are sometimes classified as elemental summoners.

Weaknesses

  • Elemental magic attacks can cause limited damage to enemies with high resistance to certain attributes and high magic defense.
  • Like other magic series professions, they are very afraid of attack moves that absorb magic value and burn mana. Once the mana is exhausted and there are no props that can be restored and partners who can provide timely support, it is easy to fall into danger.
  • Spell holders who are good at spell reflection or objects who have been cast a rebound spell will cause the elemental mage to be harmed by his own magic attacks; some defensive spells can invalidate spell attacks.

Extended settings

  • Demon hunters who are too extremely hostile to mages will also regard elemental mages as targets for hunting and elimination.
