Thunder is a character from the tactical SRPG ES game Girls' Frontline developed by MicaTeam, published by Digital Sky, and its derivatives. She joined the struggle on February 8, 2018.

Historical basis
The Thunder .50 BMG is designed and manufactured by Utah-based firm Triple Action LLC with the aims to create a pistol capable of firing .50 BMG rounds. It is first shown to the public at the SHOT Show in Las Vegas in 2004. Finalized models have a weight of 12 lbs (5.44 kg), a length of 16.9 in (429.26mm) and a barrel length of 13.2 in (335.28mm), and are loaded from the rear, housing a single cartridge. The weapon needs to be manually unlocked and its case extracted before loading a new round and locking the weapon for the next shot.
The .50BMG boasts a high kinetic energy, making the muzzle energy of the Thunder reach 15,500 J. To mitigate the strong recoil caused by .50 rounds, the weapon is equipped with a high-efficiency muzzle brake capable of relieving 20% to 25% of the recoil[2][3] and a nitrogen recoil-absorption mechanism[4]. Despite the incorporation of such mechanisms, the recoil from the pistol is still strong enough to rival that of a 7.62mm NATO-chambering rifle.

Her illustrator, NIN, released the setting drafts for Thunder on June 6, 2018, and provided large amounts of text to describe her daughter.
Clothing is quite ordinary suit-dress plus a coat, and pantyhoses and armpads. Was it not for someone attracted by black silk, I believe this would be a combination with decent defense. Dressed as a shy kid, with a small constrast by the ribbon on her leg. The entire design is simple, putting most of the emphasis on the doll and the color of the clothing. A white swan in the clothes of a black swan, hoped to give off some hidden morals.
The black swan mentioned here is the one referring to an event, but borrowed the outline of living beings, which included the sense of a crow. The camouflage is placed on the inside of the clothes, meant for herself, not to forget the cruelty and darkness of the world. Once the coat is buttoned up, the ribbon on the leg will be hidden as well. In the shadow, not standing out means not to be chosen, living silently in a shell.

私下是個FPS遊戲玩家，只要是能發射的遊戲都會去玩。

最初查找這把槍的資料時馬上就被酷到了，別於所
有手槍的超大口徑，吹風機般的外觀，強差人意的銷
售情況，馬上就倒閉的研發公司的最後之作，無論是
效率還是前途都一切沒有，只為浪漫而生的槍。
這孩子的形像早就定型好了。
服裝是很普通的西裝裙配外套，加上連襪褲和護臂，若
不是對黑絲情有獨鐘的人的話，我相信這會是防禦力不
俗的配搭，內向的孩子的打扮，大腿上的蝴蝶結是小小
的反撲。整個設計思路很簡單，心思大概都放在人形與
衣服的顏色上，白天鵝穿著黑天鵝的衣服，希望能達到一
些寓意的效果。
這裡說到的黑天鵝，是指事件的黑天鵝，但是沿用了
生物的外形，也有烏鴉的意思在。迷彩之所以放在
衣服內側，是為了給自己看的，不要忘記世界的殘酷
與黑暗，只要把外套扣上，連腿上的蝴蝶結也會隱藏
在陰影之下，不突出就不會被看中，在殼子裡靜靜生活。

Thunder's emotions out of production reasons are actually numerous. It can even be said that she's more "human" than any other doll.
